Well, we made it to Atlanta. Yes, Atlanta. Apparently there is a lot of snow in New York, so they have changed our flight plan to Atlanta and then to Tel Aviv. All is well. Unfortunately, we had to leave Dr. Edens behind due to health reasons. Jacky has taken over as our fearless leader, and she is doing a FABULOUS job! We will be departing from Atlanta around 11:00 tonight for an all night flight. Pictures of the group and the airport waiting times are below. Eating fills the time very well! And thank God for technology!!

Thanks for the update already. I am so excited to hear and see all of the wonders that God has in store for you during this journey. Blessings to all and prayers are in place for all of you and Dr. Edens to feel better.
Rita Koppa
Thanks for the updates. You guys are in our thoughts and prayers. Take care of each other and we will take care of Gary. God Bless!

Thanks for the update and the pictures, sorry you guy had to be delayed because of snow in New York but better to be safe so we can have you all back home . Everybody is taking care of Gary tell Jackie not to worry. We love you all and God Bless . Love Duwayne and Ruth
Sorry you had to spend your first day in an airport. I’m sure things will improve tomorrow, that is unless Kim flies the plane like she wants to! Have fun.
Hi Mom (Jacky)-
Just wanted to let you know we love you, are thinking of you and we know you will do a great job leading the group after an eventful start to the trip! I have not spoken to Gary but left a message and will give him a call tomorrow.
Thanks for the blog and photos, it’s nice to keep up to date and know that everyone is safe and enjoying the trip.
Love you,
Vikram, Kate, Arun & Bailey
Praying for a wonderful, safe trip for all of you and for God to touch you with great awareness of His presence. Thanks for posting pictures. We look forward to seeing and hearing how God blesses you through this trip. Brett, we hope you are eating more than sunflower seeds. Love you, Sue & Brett!
Hope you guys are having a wonderful time. I really wish that I was with you. By the way Kim we had 45 kids on Wednesday night. Love you all!!!
WOW! My big brother Dennis told me this morning that you all had gone to the Holy Land and then I received the email for the blog. So excited for all of you. Wish I could have gone with you. I miss my Richlands First Christian Church family. You will always be in my heart even though I am miles away from “home”. You are doing amazing things for God and bringing others to God. Prayers are with you all for a safe trip there and a safe trip home. Love you all!!! See you soon!
Well, just when you think you have a plan, God shows up! Thank God Jackie made Gary go to the ER to have his leg checked out. Thank God the doctor’s discovered the blood clot before he boarded that plane. Thank God that Jackie has the leadership skills to be the substitute tour guide and that there is such a diverse group of Christians on the trip all of whom will contribute to the blessings each receives on the trip. Glad you made it to Atlanta and my understanding is that by now you are in Israel. Sue: I had four new children at youth last night and we had a ball. Ben helped me, which was a real blessing because I surely couldn’t have done it by myself. 8 kids total. Brenda: Enjoy yourself and bring back lots of memories. We were kind of short in the soprano department last night: just 5 of us! Kim: Are you still excited? Something very special is going to happen on this trip that wouldn’t have happened if Gary had come with you. We may never know what it is, but we all know there is a reason behind His plan. God Bless you all. Look forward to another up-date. Love, Bev
I am soooo glad for you guys, I remember my time in Bethlehem, Jerusalem and Capernaum. I am looking forward to hearing of your experiences while walking in Jesus’s foot steps. Like Gary has said many times that from now on when you read, or hear the bible read, you will be listening in technicolor. Stay safe, Love Ben
Well, I’m sure sorry you guys had to waste your time in the airport. Where is Brenda Huffman? What have
you all done with or to her? I didn’t see a single picture except the group one from church. I do hope you guys have a wonderful time–not that the Right Rev would want to hear this–but now that a WOMAN is in charge–don’t think I need to say more…..
Sandy

Hey Kim I want to know how you felt on your first flight. Give us some details. Thank God for the blessings on Gary. I am with Sandy about a woman being in charge. Now everything will be great. Hope all of you have a great time and think about me when you see all those great places. Blessings and love to you all!

Oh, how we would love to be with you ——-Guess by now you have reached your destination. Sorry about the delay in Atlanta. We think about you all the time, and we know that you are receiving a Blessing from this trip. Take lots of pictures and know that your church family is praying for you and can’t wait to hear about all the wonderful things you are experiencing. Take care of each other and stay safe til you’re back home with all of us.

Hello Everybody! Isn’t modern technology fabulous? We can correspond with each other miles and miles apart. You are so blessed to have this opportunity to take this trip. We lift you up in prayer every time we think about you. Gary is doing better. He is off the shots as of today, March 25th. Our prayers are especially with Jacky. She is a very knowledgeable and capable woman. (She can handle her task!)
Kim, thanks for taking care of the updates. Please tell Magaret that I visited with her mother, ‘Ma’ Greene, this afternoon for about an hour. As always, we had a very pleasant visit. As I was leaving, she had a male visitor. It was Ray Byrns (?) – Paul and Kay’s son.
Oh, how is the food? Love and best wishes to all of you! Mary Ann
Hi travelers
We have all of you in our prayers. We know this is an experience of a lifetime. Stay safe and store up a lot of memories to share with us when you return. Jacky, I know it was so hard to leave Gary but he is in good hands with such a loving and caring church. God Bless You All!
Hello everyone , so excited to get up every morning and read the blog and see the wonderful pictures.Sounds like you are having a wonderful time there, We all miss you and can!t wait for your safe return so we can hear in your own words about everything you saw and done there. May God be with each and everyone and bring you home safely. Love Ruth and Duwayne P.S Tell Carol she is right about those steps back here they would not pass inspection, and I don!t understand how you went down 183 and only came up 80.
To my fellow Holy Land Travelers – By now you have figured out that God is more than awesome. His love is greater than we can imagine. And He is the creator of all. You have also figured out why I call Angel, Angel! You may not have figured out why you are there and I am here. There are those times when God wants to work in His own special way. This is one of those. He did two things by keeping me here. First he got me out of the way so He can minister to each of you in a specail way and bring you together as family. Second, He saved my life by not letting me get on the plane. We still have ministery to perform together for His glory. I love each one of you. Put your trust in God and give obedience Jacky and you will be blessed. Remember she is me. You can trust me on this one, people all over the US are praying for you and me. Praise the Lord — Gary
