CWF (CHRISTIAN WOMEN’S FELLOWSHIP)

The purpose of the CWF is to provide opportunities for spiritual growth, enrichment, education, and creative ministries to enable women to develop a sense of personal responsibility for the whole mission of the Church of Jesus Christ.           

The CWF consists of circles of Christian women of all ages.  These circles are governed by the CWF Executive Committee.  This committee consists of the CWF President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Worship Leader and the Chair-Person from each circle.

CWF Prayer

Unto you, O God, we give our thanks

And lift our hearts in prayer.

May your presence be with us and your love

 Surround us as we work together

 As women of faith.

Open our eyes to the needs of the world and

   fill our hearts with concern for all people.

  Guide us so that we may truly serve you

   through Jesus Christ, our Lord.  Amen.

God, be merciful unto us and bless us; and

   Cause your face to shine upon us;

 That your way may be known upon the earth,

   Your saving health among all nations,

There are three different circles:

*Lyde Mohn Circle - meets the first Thursday of every month.

            *Helen Barbee Circle - meets the first Monday of every month in the     

              Fellowship Hall at the church.

            *Sarah Farrior Circle - meets the first Tuesday of each month in the

              Fellowship Hall at the church.

The meeting dates may change due to holidays, or other church events.

Each circle meets at a circle members home, or at the church, once a month.  This is a time of fellowship with other Christian Women and to grow spiritually.  We invite you to join one of the circles to enrich your spiritual life.  See Circle Meeting dates near the bottom of the page.

CWF makes Cancer Bears and Heart Pillows                                                The CWF makes Cancer Bears and Heart Pillows.  The bears we give to Cancer patients and Heart Pillows are given to Heart patients.  They do not have to be members of our church or any other church.  If you have someone you would like to give one to contact a CWF Executive Committee member.
