What we believe
We are a non-denominational theologically conservative Christian congregation. We believe the Holy Bible is the inspired Word of the One True God. God exists in three persons - the Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is the Son of God who was born of the Virgin Mary, died on the cross for the remission of sins, conquered death when he arose on the third day, and ascended into heaven where he sits at the right hand of the Father. We believe Jesus Christ intercedes on our behalf before the Father and outside of Christ there is no salvation. In the future, on a date only known to the Father, Christ will return in final victory. Until that day comes, we have been provided with the Holy Spirit which guides believers in thought, action, and deed. We believe baptism is the testimony to our salvation. Baptism is to take place upon profession of faith in Jesus Christ, proclaiming Him as Lord and Savior and repenting from sins. We also believe in the practice of celebrating Holy Communion every time we gather for worship.
